A game of Lasersport can involve up to 5 players at a time, with a typical session lasting approximately 8 minutes. Therefore, with full usage up to 35 people can play every hour. This makes the system ideal for entertaining large groups of people.

Lasersport can be played outside as a traditional Lasersport clay pigeon shoot, with special clays launched from the Lasersport automatic clay launcher. It can be played anywhere there is space for the clay to fly and land, and the unique Lasersport clays allow Lasersport to be played both day and night.
